Bicycles Improve Children's Access to School

In Kilinochchi, Sri Lanka, it's not unusual for children to walk as far as eight miles in blistering 100 degree heat to attend school.

Nirusigha's two-hour long walk to school robbed her of quality time to study—public transportation wasn't an option for her or the other children in Kilinochchi to commute to school. And she was always too tired when it was time to do her homework.
